About this role
About the role
Do you take pride in clean, audit-ready data? We're hiring a Data Entry / EDC Specialist to keep our studies' records accurate, complete, and ready for any monitor or sponsor audit.
What you'll do
- Enter and reconcile clinical data from source into the EDC, accurately and on time
- Track and review case report forms (CRFs) for completeness against the protocol
- Generate, track, and resolve data queries; respond to sponsor and monitor queries promptly
- Flag and document discrepancies; support database audits and monitoring visits
- Hold ALCOA source-to-EDC integrity so the data stands up to scrutiny
What you'll bring
- Experience with an EDC (e.g. Medidata Rave, Veeva, OpenClinica) a strong plus
- Sharp attention to detail and accuracy under deadline
- Working knowledge of GCP/ALCOA and CRF / query workflows
- Comfort with spreadsheets and clinical systems; research experience preferred
Why this role
Your work is what lets a study close on time and pass audit, and we treat it that way. Expect competitive pay, a team that values precision, flexible or hybrid options where the role allows, and a clear path to grow into clinical data management.
What you can expect working with Acuity
- A recruiter who has actually worked in research and understands the protocol you would support.
- Honest details up front: the site, schedule, engagement type, and team, before you ever interview.
- Fast, respectful communication. We move quickly and we do not leave you guessing.
- Roles across the DFW metro, from a single opening to a full site build-out, contract and direct hire.
- Your information kept private and never shopped around without your say-so.

A Data Entry / EDC Specialist keeps a clinical study running at the site: coordinating visits and source documentation, staying inspection-ready under GCP and ALCOA, working with the PI and study team, and communicating with sponsors, CROs, and monitors. The exact mix depends on the protocol and therapeutic area.
